Animal Instincts Australia is proudly committed to operating as a purpose-led social enterprise. As the trading name of Outback Equines Pty Ltd (est. 2018), we began our transition to a social enterprise model in 2021 and have since dedicated our efforts to support mental health, disability inclusion, and community wellbeing through animal-assisted services across the Darling Downs Region in Queensland.
We are pleased to formally declare that 100% of our surplus is reinvested into our mission in perpetuity.
This commitment ensures that every dollar beyond our operational needs is directed toward growing our impact—whether through subsidized programs, accessible service delivery, infrastructure improvements, or community outreach. While we are still developing formal financial processes to label surplus reinvestment explicitly, our practice and purpose remain firmly aligned with this promise.
